Thread: Unlocked palm pixi plus webos...?

my phone recently died on me, and I opted to buy an unlocked palm pixi plus off of amazon. If I follow through with creating the webos account, will it be billing me for data that I do not use? will I automatically get upgraded to a data plan? I just popped in my sim card and had to create a profile, but I have yet to confirm it via email.
