7/22ers
We've had all kinds of dates around this, but I haven't seen any one else that ordered on 7/22. Figured it sould be close enough that we should start seeig our orders come off back order. 7/22 ordered off AT&T Premiere Web Site - ordered 1 16GB and 1 32 GB - live in AZ Original order was 7/19, but it was "stuck" in AT&T premiere site, so the official date that is showing on the order status screen is 7/22.

iPhone4
I ordered the iPhone4 9 days ago and was told that the order would arrive in 7-10 days. I've the status on a daily basis and it's still in progress. I've called both at&t and apple and got none of my questions answered. How long did any of you have to wait to receive your iPhone4 once it was ordered?

16g iPhone 4: shipped?
my iphone 4 says it has been shipped on the at&t order status page. then i click on the order number and am brought to the UPS page where it says that it has been delivered to the store. this was at about 9am yesterday so shouldn't i be getting a call or email from at&t to pick up my phone?

How do I check the status of the order I made from the store? When I go to the order status page and put in my cell # and billing zip it only shows an order I made years ago.

Anybody Purchased 7/14 or after?
I originally Purchased on 7/12 but due to no communication with the on line phone order crew; the order it wasn't rectified until 7/14. I feel burnt! In-store DF, haven’t received e-mail?
Just curious, some people have mentioned receiving an e-mail confirmation and when I placed my order in-store he asked for my e-mail address. I never received any e-mails though. My order does show up in the order status site (7/4 32 GB) as backordered, just want to make sure nothing is messed up due to the lack of e-mail.

How bad is the Backorder?
being that i'm on a business account, i was finally able to order my phone yesterday. Not to my surprise as soon as the order got placed, it backordered. only status info it has is "in progress" i was hoping to have my phone before the 4th since it's a long holiday i would get to play with it. does anyone know how long the wait time is if your order backordered? or remains "in progress"?

People whose order was received manually on paper
I don't think anyone has opened a thread on this yet, so here it is. I placed the order @ AT&T store on Tuesday around 11:30 AM PST, but because their system went offline, they took the order in carbon copy paper. My order number is official on the 16th with order number XS0511O****** It is still in processing with no backorders. From looking at existing discussions, at least one person confirmed that his/her phone has been shipped. But anyone else is still waiting for shipment like me? Thanks

Ordered iPhone 4 from AT&T Store but no order number yet
Hey all, I managed to place an order at my local AT&T store on preorder day but because of the human backlog I was given a paper receipt and was told the order would be actually placed later in the day. Should I expect to receive an email confirmation of the order? I haven't received one as of today Thanks

Re: Becareful : Fraudulent Charges plus pre-order question.
Yes your order will be declined when they go to bill it, and they will flag it so you have to call and give them the new card info, or more realistically they will just cancel the order altogether.
