Well, it was only a matter of time after Steve Jobs made his infamous “ If you want porn, buy an Android phone ” comment…but there’s officially a youtube parody of the iPhone 4 announcement, which features dancing robots singing that the Android phone is for porn (like the Avenue Q song “The Internet is for Porn”.) It’s not suitable for work, but it is quite funny! And for your viewing pleasure, the Avenue Q song “The Internet is for Porn”: Click here to view the embedded video. Via AndroidCentral Copyright

Entourage Systems Partners to Bring Android Powered “DualBook” To Colleges and Schools
Click here to view the embedded video. In a press release put out today, Entourage systems, creator of the world's first Android powered "dual book," announced that they have partnered with The Douglas Stewart Company to bring the "dual book" to colleges and schools. It seems that both Entourage Systems and The Douglas Stewart Company want to integrate the "dualbook" with educational media when selling it to educational institutions. Seems like a good idea. Besides running Android, the interesting thing about this device is that it is both a netbook and e-reader in one. On one side of the device you have an e-paper read out, capable of displaying electronic ink files, and on the other side, you have a fully functional Android tablet. How well it runs is yet to be seen. Overall, the "dualbook" seems like an interesting concept, which has quite a bit of promise. I really hope it succeeds.. Take a look at the video and let us know what you think! Go Android! Might We Suggest... Motorola Droid Solves a Rubik’s Cube Thanks to LEGO Robot [Video]
It’s safe to say that we can file this under the totally cool category of robots. This little invention uses a Droid to solve a Rubik’s Cube. We’ve all tried to solve this thing and one point or another in our life and those of us that didn’t move the colored stickers around probably failed. This robot accomplishes the feat in a matter of seconds. This isn’t the first time the creator of this robot, David Gilday, solved this tricky cube by way of Lego’s. But this time he does it with a Droid. This robot appears to use custom software and the camera on the handset to help it solve this puzzle. It gets the job done, would you like to try something like this with your Android device? Click here to view the embedded video. [via slashgear ]

Quick Look At The T-Mobile Garminfone
Ok, we’ve seen a ton of pictures of Garmin’s first entry into to the Android game. Now there’s a video of this handset in action. The guys over at Tmonews managed to get their hands on this video. Another custom UI comes with the introduction of this phone. It’s designed to fulfill all your GPS needs, we finally get a chance to see how it works. Hopefully after viewing this video you now know what to expect from this device. Judging from the video, you will not get the feel of a real Android device from this phone. That’s a good and bad thing, it’s great to see the versatility of the OS but if you’re looking for the full Android experience this may not be the device for you. The UI isn’t really appealing either but if you travel a lot, this will surely give you a more robust navigation experience then Google Maps (Maps got me stranded a few times). And look at the bright side, this device isn’t out yet so hopefully some of its shortcomings will be ironed out before its release. Click here to view the embedded video. [via tmonews ]

Droid Incredible by HTC Shown Off on Video, Pre-Orders Starting Sunday [Video]
When it comes to phones, especially major releases, we are always counting down. Counting down to the next big release. For most, the Droid Incredible by HTC is one of those devices. Speculated for the last few months, and teased with an assortment of screenshots and other leaks , it’s been a long time coming, but the newest (official) Android-based handset is on its way to Verizon Wireless in just a couple of weeks. And, we thought you might like a video. Seeing a phone in action is one thing, but we know it won’t do much to satiate you. Especially if you’re planning on actually getting the 1GHz Snapdragon powered handset. Of course, if you were waiting for the Nexus One to show up, some would argue that this, the Droid Incredible, would be your better choice. It features the same 3.7-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and Android 2.1 goodness, but there are some key differences. Like the inclusion of HTC’s Sense UI and the 8MP camera on the back. All good additions. And thanks to NerdStalker, who caught up with HTC at the 99% conference, we can check out the video below to see the new FriendFeed in action, along with those great weather animations. And, if you like what you see, then you should pre-order. Best Buy is featuring a pre-order system right now for those that want to pull the trigger. All you need to do is fill out a form when you go into your local store, and hand over a cool $50. They’ll give you a gift card, and that’ll be your ticket to your new phone when it launches April 29th. Keep in mind, though, that if you go through Best Buy you won’t have to deal with any mail-in rebates. So, something to think about. Anyone out there going to pick this beast up?
