It varies on the amount that has so far been ordered. There are many topics regards to "Date" and "Premier" delays on this forum. Several premiers have asked why their order takes longer. Nobody knows for sure other than the business line was sent later than the personal line for some reason. There's several speculations on the delay of shipments like the White i4 due to design flaws or coloring flaws or many other reasons for the delay. It may take longer based on the amount of ordering. There's several million orders that have already been ordered and increasing by the day in Backorders.

AT&T’s iPhone 4 Shipping Methods & My Calls to Them
I order the iPhone4 from an ATT store. The clerk tells me that it will be shipped overnight. As I see on this forum some people are having their phones shipped overnight and some 2 day. Why? Besides the fact that I'm a Business Premiere I think all iPhone4 backorder customers should be treated equally. Of course today I receive shipping notification and it's UPS 2day. Other are receiving FedEx overnight shipments. I called ATT Premiere (866-499-8018) and they told me they have nothing to do with the shipping method and that this is done by the store that you order from. Called the store today and talked to the manager. He said when you order there is only an option to ship to the store or to your home. Yes it may only be a day but I think it's bogus. Customers should call and complain. The squeeky wheel gets the grease. I envision one shipping clerk using overnight and one using 2 day. It's probably that simple and no one gives a dern. Of course besides the fact that ATT ships out of order. Bogus.

Re: ordered 7/12 for in-store delivery (still on backorder)
I bought 2 16G phones at 10A on 7/12 at the store. Buying at 7:30P, I'd consider 7/12 a "lost day". AT&T doesn't count weekends as Business Days, so I'd suggest that you are really at 9 days, not 12. When I bought my phones, ATT was shipping overnight. Now they are shipping 2nd Day Air. I had both phones shipped to my home. It is supposed to be faster to the store and the forum seems to support that. You might not see the information updated as rapidly for a store shipment. Both my phones came off of BO in 9 business days on a Thursday AM. Both are shipped from Ft Worth to Houston. One arrived the next day, a Friday, but the other will arrive on Monday. Go figure. :smileyvery-happy: Hang in there.

Att I can’t believe You
You tell me my unlimited data plan that says it is an unlimited data plan is not an unlimited data plan. You wouldn't let me upgrade 30 days early. So I paid twice as much as I should have for my phone. IM reading in the forums people who back ordered yesterday and there phones shipped today. while the majority of us just wait weeks and weeks for ours to ship. You take away the unlimited data plan for everyone. Pretty much rendering the iphone useless as a smartphone that is web based. You offer the smelled amount data package of all the companies. Are You trying to kill your business. Do You want to iphone to fail. Seems You Are forcing apple to move to a new carrier because this poor decisions... so ill wait till my phone arrives and be dismal like all the rest.

Unlimited Data Plan Will Not Be Grandfathered Over To Iphone 4.
Ok, right now I have a Samsung smartphone. Like any good money managing person I say a new plan come available years ago for and unlimited data and messaging plan that would lower my bill. ( I have had smartphones only with ATT for four consecutive years.) Att now tells me that my plan isn't a smartphone plan even though it says that it is. They will not honor my plan for my upgrade to the new Iphone 4. I have spoken to several managers with the Att company. No one will honor my plan which is crap. All over Att's website as well as Apple's website does it say I will be able to maintain my plan. Now that I have ordered my phone, which I have not received. I can not keep my unlimited data plan. I use this my phone all over the world. When I leave the country I switch to Att's international data rate plans in which I always use more then this 2GB allowance. I personally feel that as a business account holder, with four years of service I would be given some support from a company whom which I support with faithful service. Att does not see this my way. I even offered to pay extra if the data plan for the Iphone was more than the $30.00 more a month that I pay now for unlimited data. For a week straight now I have been told no by many different levels of Management from within the Att company. Seeing that my contract will be up in a few months. I am now toying with idea of canceling service with Att and going with a competitor. My reason being, a loyal customer calls with a minor complaint that in my opinion is easily mitigated. No one will budge on the opportunity to keep a long term loyal Customer happy. This is my first complaint about Att service in the four years I have had them. If we can not reach a median. I will have no other choice than to take my business else where. Since my unlimited data plan is as good as there unlimited data plan.... Simply childish on Att's part.
