iPhone 4 Refurbished (Instock or backordered?)
I just noticed ATT is offering refurbished iPhone 4s. Has anyone ordered one? I was wondering if they were instock ready to ship or on backorder? Thanks

Whopping data usage in a single day
Friends, please help me figure this out: I was out of country from 7/15 to 8/16. I had turned off data roaming while out of country. At times, I used to get free wifi at airport or at hotels. In my current bill, I see a data usage of 318MB at 4:00 pm on 8/16, two hours after my flight landed. I do not see any data roaming charges as expected. I am curious where that 318MB usage came from. This is on iphone 3G. My daily usage in past months have been about 1-2MB per day. ATT rep tried a lot to convince me that maybe wifi charges were billed at 3G data usage charges but I dont buy that. I do not do tethering. The reason I am curious about this is if I move from unlimited data plan to limited data plan ($15 one), and if something like this happens, I will be in trouble. If you have any clues, please advice. thanks much. Sid

Iphone 4: weird buzz sound with turned off 3G
I live in an area where 2G is stronger than 3G (I seem to get 1 more bar when I turn off 3G). However, once I do that I get a weird buzz sound (like there was a static interference). Its the same kind of sound you here from computer speakers when you place a phone near them. But I tested it away from potential interference sources. Once I turned on 3G, the voice was clean and there was no more buzz sound! I hear those sounds on low when I put the phone to my head. When I use the speakerphone I hear no static sounds. I had Blackberry Curve 8310 before with ATT that did calls on 2G only and never had this issue. I am using phone without case waiting for a free one in the mail, but I don't hold the bottom and it still does that. Should I take it to Apple Store and diagnose it? Did you have the same problem?

Can’t seem to get signed up for AT&T for my iPad.
What am I doing wrong? I bought a sim card. I can see the ATT signal. But every time I try to sign up for an account it tells me it can not complete it and to try again later. Now it won't even connect through to the account sign up screen. Just say we can't connect you. Bum SIM card or what?

ATT iphone can’t dial comcast landline
ok.. so I have this issue.My phones can't dial home. called ATT and comcast. no resolution. Usual don't know sir etc. so I without tech back ground start a little investigation.. Here is the temporary solution for you others having the same issue. turn off the 3g in settings on your iphone and for the time being u will be able to call home to your comcast landline. why does it take a non tech customer to figure this out.. come on att get with it..

Lost my Iphone 4………What now…………..@#$@
Bah, I must dropped the phone somewhere.. I called the phone using my other phone this morning. It was ringing then suddenly, voicemail msg kicked it. I guess whoever picked up my phone rejected my call. Now, if I call, it goes straight to the voicemail.. So here are my questions.. What can ATT do for me? Is there a way to track the phone? (I didn't install Iphone finder app on the phone) Should I file a police report? (Prolly a waste of time huh) Price for new iphone 4 16gb? thanks in adv P.s: Please download iphone finder app...Just in case..

My Unopened/ iPhone 4 Upgrade was Stolen by UPS
Hey All, So I am in kind of a predictament here. I currently have an iPhone 3GS and was elgible for an upgrade. So I upgraded over the phone via ATT Premier (its a business account) and paid for an iPhoen 4. Since I am in college I had it shipped to my house. My Dad got it, and took it to the UPS Store along with other things to ship to me in one package. He insured the package for up to $400. Now, I got a package at my dorm yesterday and opened it up. All my college stuff is there (just a poster or two for my wall,) but no iPhone 4. I immediatley call my Dad and tell him the poster he shipped to me came in the box, but no iPhone 4. He drives to the UPS Store and flips out on them. He said he gave them the posters and the phone to put in the same box, but obviously the lady there pocketed the phone. There trying to tell us it isnt our fault and want to send a team to come investigate my box to see if it was tampered with. Now, my question is this. I never received my iPhone 4. It is unopened, not activated, nothing. What can ATT or Apple do here to help me? Am I going to strcitly have to go through UPS, or can they track something? Thanks, Jake

nokia e71x maps
alright guys brace your selves this is one of the millions of post abt ovi maps and its nemesis e71x. So like everyone else, I am trying to use GPS without paying ATT bag full of money. this is what i have done until now 1) installed ovi nokia (updated version) 2) installed PC suit, map uploader, map updater from http://maps.nokia.com/services-and-apps/ovi-maps/free-downloads?intc=ncomexpserv-fw-ilc-lft-con-na-ncomexpserveu-g0-20-freecountrymapsleft_0x0 -THEY ARE ALL THE SAME FILE!! 3) installed "nokia_maps_2_0_0701_3.2_u.sis, "nokia_maps_3.0_0302_3.2_u.sis, 4) installed "nokia_maps_3.03_10wk11_b04_s60_3.1_rom.Nocs" but it does not work. it says its not compatible. - now i have the map application in my phone (which i was able to open once) BUT i cant open it now cuz i get two errors.. 1st "not enough memory" which cant be correct i have 8 GB card. 2nd "not validated" - now i dont have the country map (which i dont know where to get it from cuz whn i go to nokia site and try to download "country maps" it takes me to the same page as the link i provided before and installs the same file as #4) 5) I removed the nokia map and reinstalled it but still doesnt work. 6) installed google map (it opens up and seem to be working) i hope i have not missed any oher steps but if my memory serves correnctly, this is all i have done. so my question is 1) how do i start my nokia map app 2) where do i download the USA map (if someone has the file can you please sent it do me) 3) how do i use the google map, nokia map to get the driving directions. thanks

It sure sounds like you are connecting to the Canadian Cell site. Call customer service and tell them. If you do not plan on traveling internationaly, ask them to deactivate international roaming.

I want to know what is going on all of a sudden that this is happening...What excuse is there and I am going to get the GENERIC that is will take a couple of billing cycles to correct itself.
