E71x Yahoo mail client for wifi access (no data plan)

I’m looking for a client for the e71x that will allow me offline access to my yahoo mail account so I can read and maybe even queue emails when I’m out and about away from wifi.  I will not have a data plan.  The xpress mail application works fine with the data plan, but my understanding is that it won’t work without the data plan.  And of course accessing the yahoo mobile webpage works fine when I’m in wifi range but is useless when I’m away from wifi.   I tried to download the Yahoo Go client, but when I tried downloading it, yahoo said they don’t support my phone, even though the e71 is on their list of phones that they support.    Anyone found a client for offline yahoo mail access without data plan on an e71x?
